Tossing a handful of a black powder in the air, Domitius began chanting, "ite ad onera vestra gravi, ite ad onera vestra gravi!" He then threw a handful of white powder into the mist.

The powders mingled in the air, swirling around him for a brief moment then streaking toward the approaching Thing.
OOC:
Chant of Endings: The nearby enemy with the fewest hit points (you choose if there’s a tie; you also don’t have to be able to see that enemy) Attack: Intelligence + Level vs. MD Hit: 1d10 + Intelligence negative energy damage.

Rolls

Chant of Endings (d20+Int+Lvl vs MD) - (1d20+5)

(9) + 5 = 14

Damage (if hit) - (1d10+4)

(1) + 4 = 5

So, for the remainder of this round and going forward the initiative looks as follows:

19 - Domitius
18 - Ragged Man
18 - Xanxus
14 - Elke
12 - Haguk
Sep 27, 2016 7:55 pm
The black powder gets caught by a sudden sidewind, and while some comes to rest on the Ragged Man's tattered robes, no harm comes to him.
OOC:
Your 14 missed his AC of 15.
Xanxus, you are up.
Sep 28, 2016 7:58 am
OOC:
I was targeting his MD. Is that also 15?

Sorry, that was just a typo on my part. It was his MD that I checked against. His AC is 17.
Sep 28, 2016 1:28 pm
Xanxus darts forward in front of the group with studded mace and shield in hand. He exhales out something of a cross between a grunt and a hiss.
OOC:
Basic attack that may proc multiple things.

Update: Even hit so using Cruel Racial Ability: Target takes 5 Ongoing Damage now and at the beginning of each of his turns, at the end of his turn normal save to negate. Melee attack hit so Fight from the Front Class feature is enabled Command Points rolled below.

So: -7 Damage and 5 On Going his next turn

Rolls

Basic Melee Attack - (1d20+2)

(18) + 2 = 20

Damage - (1d6+1)

(1) + 1 = 2

Command Points - (1d3)

(2) = 2

The ragged man howls in pain, momentarily looking like he'll lose his step. However, the mist from his eyes increases and he snarls derisively at Xanxus' efforts.
OOC:
Elke - you're up.
Sep 28, 2016 7:56 pm
Elke flits her eyes at the others and drags the greataxe from her back, using its momentum to help her charge forward and swing towards the odd creature.
OOC:
I'm pretty sure I'm OK to use Power Attack but if not then just ignore!

Rolls

Basic Melee Attack - (1d20+2)

(7) + 2 = 9

Damage - (1d6+1)

(6) + 1 = 7

Power Attack - (1d6)

(4) = 4

Sep 28, 2016 8:59 pm
Elke's Greataxe thunks into the cobblestones as the ragged man dodges the slow blow.
OOC:
Power attack was fine to use, however your attack missed. You cannot use Power Attack again this battle.
Haguk, your turn.
Sep 29, 2016 5:39 am
Haguk lets out a loud growl and swings his sword towards the ragged man.

Rolls

Attack roll - (1d20+5)

(10) + 5 = 15

Damage (if hit), if miss: 1 damage - (1d10+4)

(9) + 4 = 13

Sep 29, 2016 7:59 am
Haguk's blade slices through the air, heading for where the ragged man's head meets his putrid shoulder. However, the sword inflicts nothing worse than a shaving cut on the creature's right cheek, which mysteriously fails to draw blood.
OOC:
The attack missed so only the miss damage is incurred.

OOC:
It's a new round. The 'Brumelurk' (ragged man) has a special ability whereby a natural 18+ hit sends him to the top of the intiative order for the next round. This was triggered by Xanxus' natural 18.

Initiative order for this turn is as follows:-

20 - Brumelurk
19 - Domitius
18 - Xanxus
14 - Elke
12 - Haguk

The escalation die is set at 1.
Sep 29, 2016 8:24 am
Angered by the shaving cut inflicted by Haguk, the Brumelurk launches a blast of icy cold mist in Haguk's direction.

Rolls

Fog bound - (1d20+8)

(4) + 8 = 12

Standard Save v's ongoing damage - (1d20)

(17) = 17

Sep 29, 2016 8:24 am
The fog blast misses Haguk by a whisker and dissipates in the night.
OOC:
Domitius, you are up next.

Successful save v's ongoing damage.
Sep 30, 2016 4:22 pm
Domitius stamped the ground, raised his arms to the sky, and shouted, "Enascor!"

The earth bubbled at his feet and 3 skeletons crawled forth. They carried an assortment of rusty blades, and their eyes gleamed with the same purple light emanating from Domitius' flesh. They looked to him for orders, and he pointed at the Brumelurk and commanded them to destroy it. Their fleshless faces smiled as they threw themselves at the creature.
OOC:
I'm summoning d3+1 mooks. Stats below. I'm also using a quick action to command them to attack.

1st level Mook
Undead
Initiative: +6
Vulnerability: holy
Sword +6 vs. AC | 3 damage
Resist weapons 16+: When a weapon attack targets this creature, the attacker must roll a natural 16+ on the attack roll or it only deals half damage.

AC 16
PD 14
MD 10
HP 6

Dealt a total of 3 damage

Pushing the attack Xanus rushes the man in robes before barking to the lady, Elke, next to him in the midst of his attack, "Get to swinging that ax woman! NOW!"
OOC:
Basic attack that may proc multiple things. Basic Tactical Strike as a Quick Action (Elke can make a basic melee attack as a free action) Since it's an odd roll Carve an Opening is enabled Critical Range: 19+ until I make a critical hit.
Damage -1 miss damage

Rolls

Melee vs AC - (1d20+3)

(9) + 3 = 12

Sep 30, 2016 8:23 pm
The Brumelurk looks astonished as the skeletal mooks rise from the ground and lets out an audible squawk as one of their rusty blades penetrates his putrid flesh. His instinctive reaction causes him to swerve to the side, avoiding the main thrust of Domitius staff attack, which thumps harmlessly into the ground

Xanxus makes contact with his short sword but the glancing blow does minimal damage.
OOC:
Elke next, then Haguk. Elke, you get a bonus attack as a free action due to Xanxus Basic Tactical Strike.

Elke rushes forward, keen to end this quickly. She sneers at the creature, frustrated by its seemingly easy brush offs to their attacks. She charges forward, axe held stiff in her grip and raises it angrily.
OOC:
Do I do two attack rolls then one damage for the free action or the other way around?
