Elke barrels into the Mothman and her axe slices his midriff open, his entrails spilling out on his hand as he tries to push them back in.

The male brumelurk unleashes his fearsome breath at Domitius.

As the Mothman holds his disintegrating midriff with one hand, he uses his other claw to strike at Elke in retaliation.

Rolls

Fog bound (Brumelurk attack on Domitius) - (1d20+8)

(19) + 8 = 27

Claw (Mothman attack on Elke) - (1d20+9)

(2) + 9 = 11

Oct 12, 2016 3:18 pm
The fog wisps into Domitius eyes, temporarily blinding him and making him feel like his head is full of nuts and bolts.
OOC:
Domitius takes 10 Damage
The faltering Mothman only manages a glancing blow in Elke though, not even scratching her armour.
OOC:
Haguk then Mrs Brumelurk

Haguk feels invigorated and lifts his sword with renewed strength. With a mighty blow, he strikes at the Mothman one more time.

Rolls

Recovery - (1d10+3)

(10) + 3 = 13

Attack Roll - (1d20+7)

(3) + 7 = 10

Damage (if miss: 1) - (1d10+4)

(6) + 4 = 10

Oct 12, 2016 7:00 pm
Haguk strikes at the mothman but does nothing more than slightly widen the gaping maw in it's abdomen, so expertly opened by Elke.
OOC:
Haguk is now back up to his full quota of 30 HP.
The female Brumelurk steps forward into the battle and takes aim at Domitius' skeletal minion.

Rolls

Fog bound (Brumelurk attack on Domitius skeletal minion) - (1d20+8)

(9) + 8 = 17

Oct 12, 2016 7:02 pm
The frigid breath from the Brumelurk seems to melt the invisible tendons holding the Skeletal minion together and it collapses into a useless pile of bones on the flagstones, it's scimitar spinning like a copper coin before coming to a rest at Domitius feet.
OOC:
That's young Skeletor out of the action I'm afraid. 10 damage.

Back to Xanxus to start the next round. Escalation die at +3.

OOC:
My math is putting the skeletal minion at 2HP. It started at 14, lost 2 due to being on fire and and 10 from this brumelurk attack. Did I miss someting?

OOC:
You missed the fact that I stupidly confused his attack bonus with his hit points in the 13 True Ways table. Apologies.
Domitius barks a command at the pile of bones and some of them quickly reform into a small spider-like skeletal creature which rears up on it's hind legs ready to strike back at the Brumelurk.
OOC:
That do you for some creative GMing?

Xanxus, you're up with the escalation die at +3. Followed by Domitius and Skeletospider.
Oct 12, 2016 10:48 pm
"Begone wretched one!." Xanxus roars swinging his mace.
OOC:
Miss Damage -1 and Crit Range increased to 16+.

Rolls

Basic Melee Attack - (1d20+5)

(1) + 5 = 6

Locking eyes with the dying mothman, Domitius whispered "Advenio." before inhaling sharply. Thin white tendrils raced across the courtyard and into the necromancer's lungs. The creature collapsed while a renewed vigor flowed through Domitius. Stretching out his arms, he lashed out again, crying "Ite ad onera vestra gravi!"

The little skeletal spider jumped at the brumelurk, stretching out its improvised sharpened forelegs to stab at the creature.
OOC:
I'll trigger my Cruel Racial power:

Once per battle, deal ongoing damage to a target you hit with a natural even attack roll as a free action. The ongoing damage equals 5 times your level. (For example, at 3rd level you would deal 15 ongoing damage against a single target.) As usual, a normal save (11+) ends the damage. A critical hit doesn't double this ongoing damage.

The Mothman's wings spontaneously combust as soon as Domitius' chanting reaches it's peak. He collapses to the floor and a cloud of moth dust rises from his corpse before he falls still.
OOC:
The 'Moth thing' is now the 'late Moth thing'.
The spider skeleton grabs the nearby Brumelurk in it's small but powerful mandibles and tears a sizeable chunk of rotting flesh from it's mouldy calf.
OOC:
The male Brumelurk is now staggered.

Blackstar then Elke please.

OOC:
Oops, forgot to roll for spell category at the end of the last round. Rolling now... Result: Defensive Spell

Did she take a recovery? If she wasn't going to from my action earlier I should probably take that back or have placed it on someone else.

No dice roll was forthcoming. Elke, do you want to do that now and I'll add it back on to your HP retrospectively?
