Nyx suggests a short rest to recover some energy and go over the recovered treasure. If the others agree he will begin attuning to the ring.

As (or before) we settled to rest, Tante Lude searched the room, the corridor she'd discovered, and the room it led into to make sure there wasn't another secret door waiting to open upon them. Then she gratefully rested.

Next hour passed uneventfully with some resting while Tinkara fly around watching possible dangers but Tante Lude scanning walls.

Tande Lude don't find any new secret doors or any other hidden things in the two rooms and secret passage between them

No benefits at all (HP, wildshape, attunement to the ring) from short rest? I assume from your post that Nyx would expect have some but they did not happen without an understanding why. Revised
Rejuvenated by the rest Nyx ponders what can be done to aid their chances of defeating the mad wizard that built the place and enjoys playing with their lives. With little else to be learned from the chariot room he wanders to the next room, with the pentagram.

"Only a jewel can tame the frog." may apply to these he states pointing towards the grun on the sarcophagus. He looks for any place that a gem, or gems, may be set to hopefully mitigate the effects of this trap. Perhaps the "two 1-inch-diameter crystal eyeballs—one dark blue and one vibrant purple" recovered previously or any other gemstones

Nyx don't see anything on the figurines of frog-like humanoids that would seem to be designed to hold a gem

though you may obviously try to balance a gem on a figurine's head or something, but there isn't anything suggesting a proper placement

Everyone - you could take time to do the paperwork of leveling up the PC later, but let me know when you are done. Meanwhile, let's continue the story. Would you describe your PC next action(s)?

I will fly over the sarcophagus and look at the lid. Any possible sockets for gems on the lid itself?

Tante Lude follows Nyx to the pentagram room and watches the faery fly around. She keeps her ears open for the sound of movement though.

As Tink flies above the sarcophagus Nyx wanders around the edge of the room, searching it closely and looking for any symbols, runes, mechanisms, etc. He ponders the likely trap, sarcophagus, and means to mitigate its effects as he doubts it can be bypassed.
Perhaps placing the gem eyes in the skull will do something. Shall we try? He asks the others.

As Tinkara is doing so she suddenly feel a pain in your leg only a moment later you realize something bite you. Yet before you manage to realize that something cuts into your arm and then all over your chest

The rest of you hear sound that reassembles sword swinging and you see blood on Tinkara chest. It is not obvious something or someone invisible is attacking her
