Hello, I've just registered in the side and started fiddling around, but forgot to introduce myself!
I've been into RPGs since I was a teenager, but departure with the friends I used to play forced me to go look for a place to scratch that niche elsewhere. I've been playing on voice chats and latterly playing MUDs; I would say that writing is quite more pleasurable for me than talking (and I'm better at it, anyways), yet it being a bit hard for me, as English is not my first language.
When it come to RPGs and storytelling in general, I prefer fantastical settings over the mundane, which doesn't interest me very much. I played a lot of DnD, but am not into it currently, I prefer lighter systems which let me modulate them for whatever I would like to do; I don't despise mechanical crunch in a game, but I prefer when it is subordinate to the story.
About themes and tone, I prefer lighthearted and carnivalesque stories, comedies in the Aristotelian sense. Though the epic also attracts me a lot. This preference leads me to aesthetically enjoy stuff related to fairy tales, epic poetry, medieval and early modern literature, and anime & manga (mostly ones made untill 2010s, the older the better, it seems to me).
Well, I hope you all be good.
Edit: forgot to say that I enjoy mostly GMing, and it is the thing I expect to do the most in the site.
