In lack of a conclusion, I choose to believe Sumeryu got her harem of 'princesses' eventually and they all lived happily. :P
At the point when the prospect would be raised explicitly, Lín Jìng would gather up all her confidence, thinking,
I can be like Sakuya Thrice-Elegant!, and arrogantly reply in a half-remembered quote,
"Sumeryu-kun, I do not want to be one of your concubines, I want you to be one of mine.
Which of course would be a lie, but something she always wanted to say. Surely no way could that go wrong.
And her
actual plan being that while her views of the dragon prince were entirely platonic, she thought that the critical mass of princesses orbiting Sumeryu would attract some cool boys, and maybe she would be able to poach a few. Of course, again, given her deficiencies in both assertiveness and charm, no way could that plan go wrong.
