Iroven eyed Artesia and said, "It looks like you have something in mind, Artesia. Do you have any suggestions?"

Artesia straightens up and clears her throat. "It may not be my place to say so, but I think... weshouldtrytofindNukiak." She finishes quickly

"We have faced many dangers together, my friends, in order to bring the Broken Tusk to where we are. Yet who would we be, if we did not help those in need along the way. I am with Artesia. If we can find her, we should try."

Koram looks at Eokoe. "Was Nukiak captured by Ashen Swale? And if so, why?"

Iroven nodded at Koram and Artesia, "I agree, we should definitely try to find Nukiak."

"There is some of our people who have decided to speak up against Ashen Swale," Eokoe replies to Koram. "They have been silenced and captured. Brought to the tower in the middle of the valley."

"We don't know what happens to them there," they continue. "But considering the necromancers he has working for him, nothing good."

"She's alive. I know it!" Tedanu exclaims again.

"I thank you for your help. We are in lack of allies. Last year a travelling warrior named Ivarsa asked Venexus and Ashen Swale to join her large following. She was turned away. Venexus won't allow us to follow another. We are desperate for allies, so hoped to find her once we're through the caves. She seemed cruel and bloodthirsty, so I'm afraid we'll trade one despot for another. But when Tedanu and the other set out I joined to keep them out of trouble. I'm afraid I've done a poor job at it so far," Eokoe says.
OOC:
For those that don't remember. You can recognize the name Ivarsa as the leader of the Burning Mammoths.

Iroven's eyes furrowed at the mention of the name Ivarsa. "Venexus was right. Ivarsa is cruel and dangerous. She has been hounding our following, causing problems and untold damage. Her following the Burning Mammoth is also dangerous. We have faced her once, and she is powerful. With the situation right now, I understand that you cannot trust anyone. However, if you do need allies, you can meet our following the Broken Tusk. Talk to the leaders, Argakoa, Grandfather Eiwa, Nakta or Merthig and tell them that we sent you. They will surely provide you a camp to rest in along with food and water. In the meantime, we can look for your companions."

"Thank you. I don't know how we'll repay you," Eokoe says. "I will make sure Dini and Tedanu is safe with your people before returning to our people and tell them of your deeds."

They leave you their food gather their companions and head north along the path you have cleared.
OOC:
You have received 5 reputation points with the Sutaki people. You can keep exploring the caves. Though not much left to discover. You can follow the river to the north or the hallway to the south, or up across the bridge above the hallway to the south.

In reality there should be more distance between where you found the first hunters and where you found the fiendish trees. But due to the limitation of fitting it all to one map in an Adventure Path the rooms ends up right next to each other.

OOC:
I suggest we follow the river to the north and check what's there. Would you all take a long rest before moving out? Also, our objective was to clear the cave and make it habitable for Broken Tusk. So, how far are we with that objective?

OOC:
Not habitable. Mostly make it safe to traverse. Sooner or later the Burning Mammoth will dig through and the more distance you have to them at that time, the better. You still haven't found the exit. But it could also be good to make sure you won't get ambushed by something strange while travelling through the caves.
