Alerio
Engineer & Countermeasures: Since nothing is on fire, Alerio has nothing to fix. From the Countermeasures suite, she can either
jam communications so the Calibrandr can't send messages,
break / prevent sensor locks to make it harder for the Calibrandr to hit you, or
disable incoming missiles. Since no missiles have been detected yet, you can only do either 1 or 2.
Alerio gets a
+6 to either action (in addtion to skill bonuses) because of the state-of-the-art countermeasures suite that is at your disposal.

A ship’s sensor operator may attempt to jam the communications of an enemy by making an opposed Electronics (comms) check (INT/EDU) against the sensor operator in the target spacecraft. The same process may also be used with the Electronics (sensors) skill (INT/EDU) to break a sensor lock.
[ +- ] Countermeasures vs. Missiles (CAN'T DO THIS ONE YET!)
A Traveller performing sensor operator duties on a spacecraft can use the Electronic Warfare action to destroy or misdirect incoming missiles before they impact their vessel or another ship within Close range.
During the Actions Step, the sensor operator must succeed at a Difficult (10+) Electronics (sensors) check in order to destroy or render inert incoming missiles within a single salvo. The Effect of this check will immediately remove that many missiles from the salvo.
Electronic Warfare may be performed upon a salvo multiple times over several rounds, with the effects being cumulative. However, a salvo may only be subjected to Electronic Warfare once per round, no matter how many sensor operators are available.

Seally Llewyn
Captain and Sensor Operator: Seally is in the captain's chair, but can also do sensor operator actions. She can use the sensors to
acquire a sensor lock to make your weapons more effective, or through leadership she can inspire the crew to the Wayward Wind's
improve initiative position (you already are on top of initiative).
Seally gets a
+2 to the sensor rolls because of your advanced sensors.

An improved target lock may be obtained on an enemy spacecraft with a successful Electronics (sensors) check. Attacks made by the spacecraft against this target gain DM+2 until the sensor lock is broken (see Electronic Warfare).
[ +- ] Improve Initiative
The captain of the spacecraft may perform a Leadership (SOC) check. The Effect of this check (even if it is negative!) is applied to the Initiative of the spacecraft for the next round only.
