Through careful coordination, the group silently navigates the tunnel up to the next bend. Some members of the group may have been less quiet had they been by themselves, but others in the group can point out better paths down the sloping passage that are more manageable to sneak across. As the team rounds the next bend, your eyes work to adjust to the new lightsource. The passage ahead widens somewhat (to allow for two people to walk comfortably side-by-side). For those of you able to see far enough, it travels 55 feet and then curves right. About halfway through is a column of twisting stone, connecting from the floor to the ceiling. It disrupts the path, but there is still enough room on either side to move around it. More noticeably there is a pit not five feet from the front of your line. it stretches about seven feet from side to side leaving a narrow walkway around it, and it descends downward at a steep, almost completely (but not quite) vertical angle. Perhaps it would have been dangerous in the darkness, but it glows with a bright blue light that causes the mouth of the pit to exude a gentle glow which helps to illuminate a sizable portion of the tunnel you stand in.
With a bit more study, each of you can plainly see the chasm has blooms of bioluminescent fungi growing from a moldy substance that lines the pit. The blooms are distanced every few feet. For those that look, the pit can be viewed for a considerable depth, before the glow of the light becomes too blinding to see the bottom of it.

Going with the "Group Rolls" here, where if the majority of the party succeeds, everyone succeeds. With a bit more study, each of you can plainly see the chasm has blooms of bioluminescent fungi growing from a moldy substance that lines the pit.
