Haguk pulls back from the insect's stinger. With a primal scream he swings his sword around in a wide arc slashing hard at his enemy.
OOC:
If (when) I miss I will use Build Frenzy to get a +1d6 on each additional damage roll for the combat.

"Use the anger to cleave them anew!" Xanxus states his eyes dancing about as the scene unfold before he lunges with a grunt his sword darting out towards Haguk's target.

Using fight from the front, and as a quick action using Basic Tactical Strike - Haguk takes another basic melee attack, if he hits he does an additional +5 from my Charisma bonus

Haguk, I'm a bit confused. This looks like another attack. My understanding is that if you had hit with the first attack you'd have a +5 to damage. You missed, so you do 2 right? Or am I confused?

Another Hellwasp flies at Xanxus, defending it's compatriot. It's stinger gleams in the hell and brimstone light of the breathing dark beast that is the devouring dark.
OOC:
A hit against Xanxus' PD of 12. 5 damage. Another natural odd roll so no ongoing damage. Domitius followed by Hellwasp 5.

My apologies as a quick action I used Basic Tactical Strike which I targeted Haguk with since he was in melee range. The +5 is from my feat on Basic Tactical Strike.
Xanxus hisses at the newcomer.

With one hand, Domitius upended his bag of bones, and they pulled together into a spider-like creature. Flames erupted from within its core, and it scuttled toward the nearest wasp, lashing out with its claws.

From his other hand, a bolt of necrotic energy lanced through the air.
OOC:
Chant of Endings targets the nearby enemy with fewest HP. In the event of a tie, I'll choose the one engaged with Haguk.

The minion takes 2pt damage due to the attack roll being odd.

Domitius Chant washes over the wasp with little effect. Domitius briefly ponders whether Wasps (Hell or otherwise) actually have ears but his train of thought is interrupted by the high pitched yelp emanating from the wasp as the minion's fire attack burns it's segmented body. Ears, maybe not, thinks Domitius. But definitely nerve endings. Oh yes.

5 damage to the wasp from the Minion attack. Blackstar up followed by Hellwasp 3.

Apologies, it's actually Hellwasp 5 before Blackstar.
Another Hellwasp near Domitius swoops and stings the air as it inches closer to Domitius' face. The stinger misses his face but sinks into his shoulder through a gap in his armour.
OOC:
5 damage to Domitius. It's also a natural even roll so each turn, Domitius must roll an easy save (6+) to end the damage. Note that damage is taken first before the save so Domitius will take damage for at least the next turn.

Blackstar raises all three arms into the air, opens his mouth wide, and an ululating cry issues forth. Domitius feels a trickle of vitality filtering into him. He also finds he now has sprouted a pair of insectoid feelers from the top of his head. Likewise, Haguk feels his strength up. Fortunately for him this is not accompanied by any strange growths.

Casting Warped Healing. Domitius gains 10 temporary hp. Haguk can immediately heal using a recovery.

Am I right in assuming that Haguk has to opt in to this? i.e. choose to use that recovery. If so, or if it's automatic then go ahead and roll your recovery Haguk. I've added the 10 hp to Domitius.

Elke watches the combat with interest until she is distracted by a shadowy, buzzing denizen of hell descending on her from above. The Hellwasp attacks, the stinger viciously peircing Elke's back repeatedly.

5 points of damage to Elke. Elke, if you have time to play before you travel then feel free to do so and I'll finish the round (and the year) with Hellwasp 1. If not you can pick up when you return and we'll all break there.

Elke crumples to her hands and feet on the the ground before rolling onto her back. She cries out with both pain and exasperation as she swings her axe towards Hellwasp 3.

Can you confirm what the escalation die is set at? I'm rolling without it to get things moving but can't see it being noted at the beginning of the round?
