Even with that history roll, you can easily tell that these are ledger books, detailing cargoes taken on and cargoes sold with their values. It looks like this lot had just taken on a fair number of general goods. You see entries for 10 barrels of water, 5 crates of rations, 3 crates spider silk fabric in black, 3 crates of uncured hides, a crate of spider silk ropes, and a crate of masterwork manacles and shackles. There is an order form stuck in one of the books that details separate orders for many of the items on the inventory. All the orders are due in Gracklstugh and are were picked up by the crew in Mantol Derith.

Humm well it looks like we have a cargo manifest. Perhaps we can use some of these supplies.
OOC:
does it say we're these supplies are going or who they are going to?

OOC:
Sorry, I misremembered the map. All the orders are DUE in Gracklstugh. I'll update the previous post. They took the cargo on in Mantol Derith.
The crates of black spider silk fabric, the crate of ropes, and the crate of manacles and shackles are marked down for a Xalith. No other indication for that order.
The water and rations are marked down for Errde Blackskull. There's a note "Stone Guard, IMPORTANT!" next to that order.
The crates of hides are marked for a Rulli of Clan Ironhead. There's a note that mentions "The Glittering Tankard, in the docks" next to that order.

Dustin takes a breather laying in one of the beds slightly cramped since they were made for Dueregar.

I need to take a few moments my friends. He closed his eyes.

Maybe we should claim this ship, all of us fit on it.

I imagine someone may come looking for this ship or be on the lookout for this ship if we harbor where these goods are expected. Spider silk makes me think of drow goods. We don't know anything about the people these items were meant for. On the other hand, we may be given a reward for them.

something tell me they would just as likely seek revenge on us for killing the crew. Either way we could use the food and water.
OOC:
how far off are we from our destination and is were we are going the same place this cargo was headed?

Roll a D100, 51+ and you recover it, under 50 you find the haft but the head is damaged beyond utility
When you guys ended the last day, you had 21 days left to get to Neverlight Grove. This boat was headed to Gracklstugh, which is in the same general direction for another 14 days of travel or so, then you'll continue straight when they would have to bank south.
Feb 8, 2017 8:38 pm
My vote keep the boat. Those Dueregar have anything nice on them ? Dustin doesn't open his eyes just lays there.

Waiting on your final group decision regarding plans. Are you going to uncouple the boats and use the new one, or return to your old ones and use them? Do you inspect any cargo? Etc.
Feb 9, 2017 3:37 pm
Now that Dustin is up and about he will search the cargo and definitely want to switch to the one boat to keep everyone together.
Feb 9, 2017 3:40 pm
The crates are all locked with simple locks through simple hasps. Dustin pops them open easily enough. Everything appears to be in order. You notice the black silk has a silver web motif worked into the fabric. The hides, however, are interesting. There are a variety of sizes of ingots of metal there, layered in-between the skins.
