Why don't we tie one to this one and tow at least one boat with us ? I just worry we will be split up with two boats.

If we lash our boats together, then navigation will prove difficult. We need to man the boats to get Stool home as quickly as possible.

You can travel slightly faster in the bigger boat if you have more people manning oars during a shift. One of the benefits to going to one boat: you could effectively travel at a fast pace across all shifts, unlike the two boats where you can only move at a normal pace.

I say we scuttle the other two boats and make it look like we drowned, that might put off anyonelooking for us and then we take this new boat.

As Cemos is checking out the ingots, Dustin continues checking the stuff out. By your tally, there are about 840 ingots in the crate. The crates are all large shipping crates, 5' x 5' square, and 4' tall.
