Dustin, after getting his bearings in the water, suddenly remembers his decades of experience swimming in the lakes of his homeland. Snapping into perfect form, he moves the distance to where Bildaweer is being actively drowned by the creature.
OOC:
You can still take an action, swimming over there was only your movement.

BFM, you are 10 ft away at the moment. The boat is about 8 feet wide, so you can't get a proper running start. You can leap 12 feet (I'm going to say you can get a bit of a running start). Typical jumping rules are: if you can get 10' running room first, you can jump up to your strength score (so 16 in your case). If you cannot get the room to run, you can only jump half of that (so 8'). However, since you have ALMOST enough running room to get the full score, but not quite, I'll give you .75 of your strength in distance, so 12 feet. Leap and hammer away! Minor edit, you could certainly do that if you want, but the creature is brought low by Dustin's magic stabbing device.Jan 19, 2017 4:53 pm
Dustin stabs at the water, just barely missing the animated section! He stabs the murky nonalive water instead.Feeling much more connected to his knife, Dustin slides it up and into the watery abomination. The magic of the weapon permeates the attack and a hideous gurgle is released as the beast splashes down into the water. The crystal clear water of the creature lets Dustin and Bildaweer see under the water pretty well.

Dustin forgot that his magic little dagger is in fact, magic, and is a +1 weapon. With that +1 he just barely manages to hit the beast full on.Dramasailor sent a note to wpw1856,Cosmic_Cube

Your mage hand plucks the stone from the eye easily. As it drops it back in your hand, you feel a strange sensation.
