• Ivor vs. Pounder
• Ivor's pile-on roll vs. Hasticha
• Bryn and Ivor are randomly selected as participants in the final combat that kills infamous Warlord Diucill.
Fuck, I can't make up my mind what new Feat to take! Narrowed it down to the following. Dunno if Trident Mastery is still on the table but I don't really see it winning here.
[ +- ] Martial Adept
You have martial training that allows you to perform special combat maneuvers. You gain the following benefits:
You learn two maneuvers of your choice from among those available to the Battle Master archetype in the fighter class. If a maneuver you use requires your target to make a saving throw to resist the maneuver’s effects, the saving throw DC equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength or Dexterity modifier (your choice).
If you already have superiority dice, you gain one more; otherwise, you have one superiority dice, which is a d6. These dice are used to fuel your maneuvers. A superiority die is expended when you use it. You regain your expended superiority dice when you finish a short or long rest.
[ +- ] Mobile
You are exceptionally speedy and agile. You gain the following benefits:
Your speed increases by 10 feet.
When you use the Dash action, difficult terrain doesn’t cost you extra movement on that turn.
When you make a melee attack against a creature, you don’t provoke opportunity attacks from that creature for the rest of the turn, whether you hit or not.
[ +- ] Savage Attacker
Once per turn when you roll damage for a melee weapon attack, you can reroll the weapon’s damage dice and use either total.
[ +- ] Spear Trident Mastery
Though the spear trident is a simple weapon to learn, it rewards you for the time you have taken to master it. You gain the following benefits.
You gain a +1 bonus to attack rolls you make with a spear trident.
When you use a spear trident, its damage die changes from a d6 to a d8, and from a d8 to a d10 when wielded with two hands. (This benefit has no effect if another feature has already improved the weapon’s die.)
You can set your spear trident to receive a charge. As a bonus action, choose a creature you can see that is at least 20 feet away from you. If that creature moves within your spear's trident's reach on its next turn, you can make a melee attack against it with your spear trident as a reaction. If the attack hits, the target takes an extra 1d8 piercing damage, or an extra 1d10 piercing damage if you wield the spear trident with two hands. You can’t use this ability if the creature used the Disengage action before moving.
As a bonus action on your turn, you can increase your reach with a spear trident by 5 feet for the rest of your turn.
If I go Martial Adept (representative of learning some new moves while at Mercon's) then I gotta pick two new maneuvers.
