Ivor / Doirind
Round X4 (Update)

Ivor wins comparison. G7 Shoved Prone.

Ivor crashes into the Glaaki pawn chest to chest, tilts him off balance, and drives him to the stone floor with a crash.
OOC:
Daaangg!! That Glaak D.End got BLOWN UP by Left Tackle MacConall!!!
With the adjacent blocker put down, the way is clear to charge towards the center of the chamber.

Maeriks is nearby, though moving slowly from his severe injuries.

Doirind drives forward, building on Ivor's support. "Let's go, Maeriks! Move!!", she calls out.

She gives Maeriks a push, steps forward and scoops up Sorcha Rhone along the way, guiding the girl forward in a protective grip.

Thorn is slashing at one of the Glaakieou opponents that obstructs the way a few steps ahead. Everything is happening so fast. The ground is quaking and rumbling. Explosive sounds crack out and echo through the chamber. The light from the great cauldron fires seems to be dying out.

Doirind does not know if they will be able to make it or not, but she focuses everything on driving forward, everyone locked together as a group to try to endure the gauntlet and smash through.

Movement underway.

Ulathi (Deep Ones)
Round X4 (OA Option)

Despite the chaos, Ivor cannot help but notice the lack of assault by the Deep Ones.

Though the Ulathi were within reach of striking at Ivor and Doirind, none of them lurch forward to attack or capture. Instead they seem to be dumbfounded, gawking at something in the center of the chamber.

In the confusion there is little time to reflect on it, but it seems an odd change.

No Reactions used by Deep Ones as Opportunity Attacks in response to PC/NPC Movement.

Bryn
Top Round X4

Both Attacks Hit

Bryn cuts down the foe that he had already injured and then shrewdly shifts over to catch another foe unaware, striking him as he is recovering from stupor and leaning in towards Rhone and Maeriks.

After being slashed at by Bryn, the madman raises his axe and turns his attention to the fast-moving Dannein bladesman.

Round X4 Update and Details

Grid updated after Bryn's Attack on Admin thread.

Ivor shoved down G7, so that looks like the large conglomerate of Ivor, Doirind, Rhone (and maybe Maeriks, but I don't speak for CB of course) have a lane of travel back towards the outer circle runic floor markings.

The Ulathi seem stalled out on reactive Attacks.

G5 is now targeting Bryn who just hurt him.

G9, G4 could be candidates for lashing out as everyone tries to run by.
G7 just got flung down to the ground, unclear what he will do from Prone.

G16 (injured) and G8 (uninjured) could be obstacles. They are standing in the way now, separating the external team from Kray and Thorn who are already within the boudary. We'll see.
Any of their opponents who try to Move through their square while they are still standing and mobile, likely calls for a STR comparison (outside of Actions, it just has to be done for Movement that requires passage through their defense sector).

At time of writing this, Maeriks and Kray may still Act.

Others are in progress of Movement after Action already taken.

Mindful of the defensive perimeter defined by the ritual circle, Kray fends off the enemy with a wide, sweeping slash from his yatagan, determined to buy time for Rutcranna and Sorcha to finish whatever witchery they were about and get the damn door open.

Doirind drives forward, building on Ivor's support. "Let's go, Maeriks! Move!!", she calls out.

She gives Maeriks a push...
Maeriks leans forward with the push, keeping his feet planted. Kill them all first... can't leave... His dulled mind resists, struggling to latch onto something simple.
Quote:
... Doirind steps forward and scoops up Sorcha Rhone along the way, guiding the girl forward in a protective grip.
Sorcha Rhone must be protected. There. That is what he can do. Keep his clan safe. Keep her safe. He can't remember why now, but something distant in the fog of his throbbing skull is something directing him to the witch girl. Maeriks moves his feet, slapping them down hard with each step to ensure his footing. It is all he can do to keep up and move with the girls into the circle.

Movement is reduced to half from Zero HP State. Dash action to make the last 5 ft into the circle. Bonus action to blink and slowly shake his dizzy head while walking.

Kray
Round X4

Attack: Miss

Somewhat off balance and disoriented from the chaos of light, movement, and sound, Kray takes a wild swing at the erratic Glaakieou in front of him. The madman jerks to the side at the same time and Kray's blade slices past without connecting.

Top of Round X4
Enemy Opportunity Attacks

G9 and G20 Attack Ivor
G4 Attacks Doirind
G7 Is too disoriented and overwhelmed to Attack.
G21 is not in good enough position and does not yet have clarity enough to Attack.
OOC:
Ox, I am assuming that Bryn is moving here. I know that could be wrong, but it seems to fit, and I'm trying to combine a lot of this and get new positioning and results. I'm willing to correct if you overrule.
OOC:
Saw your message after I wrote, Ox. Movement incorporated, but results in an OA.
G5 Attacks Bryn.

All Attacks above are Reactions, from provoked Opportunity Attacks based on PC and NPC Ally Movement.

Erupting back into action, the Glaakieou attack. The madmen are still sluggish, but even their diluted violence could be deadly.

Result Update for NPC: Miss against Doirind.

Doirind takes Rhone under her arms and barely ducks under the dangerous swing of a mad Glaaki blade.

Top of Round X4
Final Charge of Movement
OOC:
This part is a little wild, but this is my take and interpretation of how it is culminating to one final effort to break through the last defenders.
OOC:
Doirind knows they have to break through G16 get through, especially with Maeriks struggling and without options for any extended route to avoid somehow.
She has a full head of steam with Ivor driving her on in a push, Rhone tucked underneath and running in too, Maeriks stumbling forward, and maybe even Bryn angling in to make the final push.
Plus G16 is weaponless and focusing on recovering a weapon to use against Thorn who just cut him.
So...I'm rolling the Overrun roll from Doirind with Advantage.

To me it makes sense that Ivor should be the one barreling into G8 at the same time. Most of the same reasons above also give Advantage to Ivor on the STR Athletics check for Overrun, Push, Shove Aside, whatever.

Both Glaaks have Disadvantage on checks due to stupor degradation.
Surrounded by enemy. Immersed in the chaos of a crumbling chamber, the full ensemble of teammates charge in full bore, trying to drive through the last defenders and reach the inner circle.

Results: Doirind prevails. G16 is Overrun.

The group leans in with all of their weight and knocks one of the masked men aside. The path is clear for Doirind, Maeriks, and Rhone to crash through and get into the circle.
OOC:
Holy shit that was close! Advantage and Disadvantage both made the difference.
Final Top of Round X4 Requirement

Ivor needs to roll STR Athletic at Advantage vs. G8 to Move through. Number to beat is 9.
OOC:
Jabes, I think that's pretty much an Auto-Success... unless you roll back to back 1s. Yikes!

Everyone dives, falls, is carried, stands ground in, or otherwise lands in the circle.

The floor is solid. It is not cracking, nor is it falling away. Still a feeling of vertigo overtakes you. It is as if the earth is being thrown off its axis, heaving to the side and leaning to a point where you should be falling.

Yet you still feel the ground. There is a natural tendency to crouch down and try to cling to something stable.

Darkness overtakes all vision. Sound rolls back and forth. Moaning voices and screaming and rumbling, then silence, then the sounds of the screaming madmen again.

"Hold to this world!", Rhone’s voice. "Don’t fall away! Stay! Stay here!"

And then …no perception at all.

Darkness.

Feeling nothing.

Silence.
