Ygne seems relieved by Frick's change of heart, "If you want a fight, I'm sure you can get one just by asking them."

To Rygnar, she shrugs, "That's your plan, not mine. An' if you want me to tell 'em, I will. Wouldn't be very honorable, or very warrior-like, to sneak past 'em and try to take their orb without a fair fight, now would it? In my opinion you should walk right up to the Seventh an' tell 'em what'cha plan to do, let 'em try an' stop ya."

You sure seemed to be trying to stay sneaky when you threatened to kill me if I told them about your plan. Guess we'll see!"

"Man, if you want our little team to work, you're gonna have to stop being such a dick. Whatever you think, we're on the same side: we all want to get off of this island, so maybe you should actually try to get along with people. Just remember, the more allies you have, the better chance of your Elspa getting off of this island alive," Frick says to the big man, trying to use the man's motivations to change his behavior.

Rygnar snarls deeply "Little team..." he spits a glob of saliva at Frick's feet "Elspa will leave this island alive, you will not; you will fall by my hands...get along with that." He turns and stomps off towards the village stairs.

JARVEENA and MOSS

One of the four Deinonychuses survive, narrowly dodging Jarveena's arrow. It sees Moss standing at the front of the tree trunk and lets loose a terrible scream and leaps towards him. Moss deftly dodges each of its wild attacks.

The noise of the battle rouses a horrible abomination. The fallen, rotting tree trunk suddenly rises, its bark splitting and cracking as it does. Arms pull free from the debris around it, and eyes open at its crown. You appear to have awoken an undead Treant on its last legs.

Frantically trying to evade each of the creature's attack, Moss takes a dagger and tries to plant it in his sides before rolling away and running in the trunk.

The giant log IS the Treant, feel free to change your action or maybe not! Climbing inside a monster sounds pretty good. If you do want to climb inside of it, roll an Athletics check to climb, DC 13. If you succeed, you can use your bonus action to hide rather than disengage.

ELSPA, FRICK, RYGNAR and YGNE

Leaving the cave, you encounter the first raindrops of the coming storm. In time the four of you find and ascend the stone stair. At the top, the crew has begun setting the foundation for a new watchtower, setting timbers at cross-angles and lashing them with ropes. Khiva and The Seventh are overseeing the construction.

Khiva hails the four of you, in low Atlantean: "Welcome back, Heroes of Panitube. First Hunter of the Grey Pack and Iron Wolf of the Sea Witch, I am glad you have rejoined your friends. Do we have you and your serving man to thank for the pile of bodies down there?"

Scanning the village, you see several adolescents armed with hunting bows just at the edge of their range.

Ygne snorts with laughter at the 'serving man' comment. Making sure that she is several paces away from Rygnar, she gestures to the two barbarians and says to their hostess with a grin, "I think these two have something to tell you, Khiva."

Jarveena lines up another arrow at the last reptile, this time opting for a clean shot rather than the quick kill. She reckons the thing is on its last legs anyhow. She downs her target with a well-placed arrow to the neck, then shoots at the huge log thing next.

I'm guessing because Moss failed his climb then he's still on the ground and adjacent to both Treant and the dino?

Elspa nods, but she does not slow her stride. "They's weren't kind enough to let us sleep," she says in answer to Khiva's question, and continues on her way to the waterfall. Her demeanor is decidedly that of someone uninterested in conversation, but she adds in passing, "We got a couple boats out of that deal, and we's going to use 'em after this storm passes."

"Think you guys are still s'posed to bathe first. They got kids in there, an' all." Ygne adds, grinning from ear to ear. She calls out loudly, "Wasn't there something you were going to say to Khiva, Muscles? Coulda sworn there was. Somethin' 'bout honor, not keeping secrets... bein' up front and seein' who tries to stop ya?" Scratching her chin in mock thoughtfulness, she concludes, "Aye, I'm certain there was."
