Cassandra wakes up with a loud "Son of a sea hag!" and tries to hold her attacker and whoever the f is shining that light in her face still, so she and her companions can get a swipe at them.

Hold person on Lizardman 4 and the shaman, using 3rd level spell slot to target two humanoids. Wisdom save DC 15.

Urki is visibly annoyed. What the hell Ai? Urki wants nothing more than to lay back down, he looks at his pack and contemplates putting his armor on. Instead casts Shield of Faith and whips around quickly to swing his dagger at the foe.

I just got to sleep... You're gonna be sorry. Scowls as he reaches for the Lizardfolk.

Unarmored AC = 15 = 10base + 3dex + 2Faith.

It's a particularly dextrous lizardman that has climbed up to Fēng's roost in a branch 10 feet off the ground. Fēng's eyes fly open and faster than thought, delivers a talon strike to the nerve center in the lizardman's neck. The monk's next instinct is to take to flight. He grabs the lizardman and hoists him into the air before dropping him from 60 feet up.

Eh. Tried to post this a couple of times but the attacks rolls weren't saving, only the damage rolls.

*Con save vs the Stunning Strike is save DC = 14. If he's stunned he automatically fails his Str save vs. the grapple attack.
*Fēng spends a 2nd ki point for Step of the Wind. Double his flying speed is 120ft but flying half-speed because of the excess baggage his net speed is 60ft.

"GRAN'TAK" Kildrak shouts when the Lizard man hits him. He rolls away and pops up on his knees (5-foot step and stand up), he has both an ae and his focus in his hands as he was sleeping with them at the ready. Then he let's out a twin bikt of Arcane energy.

(Spending Inspiration)
(That is 12 damage...I put the wrong number in for my Agonizing damage bonus...its only 3, not 6))

Ai Shan grunts in surprise and pain, with his attackers at close quarters he drops his javelin and whips his heavy two-handed sabre around with a fluid motion.

"RUN THE PLACE RED!!" he screams in berzerker fury.

Ai Shan has activated Rage with Frenzy: Gains advantage on Strength checks and Strength saving throws, resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage, gets an additional +2 damage to melee attacks and as of next round has 3 attacks per round for the next minute

Both Ai Shan's attacks this round are directed toward the target that made the unfortunate mistake of striking him

edit: aaaaaaand more bad rolls, damn

Kildrak, Cassandra, and Feng all get 2 hp back due to the late night phantom criticals.
Lizardfolk 4 and Shaman roll Wisdom Saves, and both are Held.
Urki casts Shield of Faith as a bonus action and swipes with dagger with his Attack action. His dagger misses Lizardfolk 5.
Feng attacks with a Stunning Strike but treeward bound Lizardfolk 6 blocks with his shield and rolls Athletics to contest the grapple. Feng is successful in his grapple and drops Lizardfolk 6 who is crushed dead in the fall.
Kildrak hits Lizardfolk 3 with Eldritch Blast but
All should see Rules Arbitration about Five Foot Steps vs Disengage Action and Inspiration. Lizardfolk 3 rolls Constitution against Massive Damage for taking more than half his total hit points in damage and saves.

From Cassandra’s hand flows the spirit of the sea as spectral streams water lash out and grab hold of the two aggressive lizardfolk in front of him. The lizardfolk shaman has an almost discernable rage burning in his unflinching eyes with the still burning fire of his cantrip reflecting ever shifting shadows across his face.

Urki’s hand glows as Olladra answers his prayers. An ethereal fire with sickles flames flow up his armor, fortifying his chainmail with the fervor of her blessings. His dagger lashes out at the scaly beastman but is turned away by the shell of the tortoise that hugs his arm.

In Fēng's head, the voice of Master Qin rings out in irony, "The rising of birds in their flight is the sign of an ambuscade." You think to reflect on this after the battle. But none of that matters now and the thoughts filter from you mind as you begin to focus your ki from on high.

Kildrak rolls under the attacks of the Lizardfolk and darks tendrils of fiendish energy hasten from his crystal through the creature. The lizardfolk coughs up a tendril and looks to keel over and die when he slams his shield and club arms to his chest. He heaves up the remainder of the Paz'azast’s dark energies and looks to Kildrak. A strangling challenge bellows up from his lungs and into the warlock's face.

Ai Shan loses his footing from the uneven group here in the forest. He slashes as he falls and scrambles under the blows but the two warriors have no problem turning them away and stepping to their sides. He catches and steels himself for the incoming ripostes.

Lizardfolk Shaman is incapacitated and cannot take actions. It rolls a Wisdom Save DC15 at the end of its turn. It fails and is still Paralyzed.
Lizardfolk 1 uses its Multiattack, striking at Ai Shan with Rock Axe and Spiked Shield. It hits with its Rock Axe for 2 damage from your resistance from Rage and misses with its Spiked Shield.
Lizardfolk 2 uses its Multiattack, striking at Ai Shan with Bite and Rock Axe. It misses with both attacks.
Lizardfolk 3 is bloodied and uses its Multiattack, striking at Kildrak with Bite and Spiked Shield. It misses with its Bite and hits with its Spiked Shield for 5 points of damage.
Lizardfolk 4 is incapacitated and cannot take actions. It rolls a Wisdom Save DC15 at the end of its turn. It fails and is still Paralyzed.
Lizardfolk 5 uses its Multiattack, striking at Urki with Bite and Rock Axe. It hits with both attacks for a total of 7 damage.

The lizardfolk warrior and shaman fail to break free from the genasi druid, Cassandra, as they rack their brains against the watery hold.

Urki is set upon by the large creature in from of him as it rips at unarmored sides with his teeth and axe.

The warrior in front of Kildrak feints high with a bite attack but rips low with his shield, catching the warlock in the gut.

Ai Shan deftly dodges the incoming attacks but catches the rock axe to the jaw. Chips of stone fly off the axe and the frenzied barbarian launches into the unsuspecting warriors.

Fēng is finally fully awake. From his vantage point from on high he opens up his battle awareness and takes in the scene below him: Lotus Flower Opens. He realizes he has left his weapons at his roost. "No matter," the monk muses, "I am the weapon!"

His allies each seem to be holding their own so Fēng decides to go for their ambushers' leader who at the moment is held helpless thanks to the druid Cassandra. The monk tucks his wings and goes into a twisting dive that ends with three simultaneous talon strikes at the paralyzed shaman's face: Flying Mongoose Strike
Auto crit vs Paralyzed. Decided not to burn any ki this round, so no Step of the Wind and no Flurry here.

Feng's status as the party leader in Cassandra's mind is further bolstered by his wise attack on the leader of the lizardfolk.

For those who are interested, Cassandra's flaw is that she always follows the leader, so I need to pick someone as leader! It's nothing personal - just makes most sense from where Cassandra's standing at the moment. If someone else establishes themselves as party leader, Cassandra will follow them instead.

For her own part, she channels her rage first into her staff, and then through the staff at the adjacent paralyzed lizardman.

Casting Shillelagh as a bonus action.

Ai Shan slams into Lizardfold 1 with two attacks and Lizrdfolk 2 with one attack. He hits Lizardfolk 1 for 12 points of massive damage and hits a second time (if still alive) 8 damage respectively and into Lizardfolk 2 for 17 points of massive damage. Lizardfolk 1 and 2 have to roll Constitution DC15 for damage from an attack that was more than half their HP. They both save and are still remarkably on thier feet.
Kildrak casts Vampiric Touch against Lizardfolk 3. The melee spell attack misses.
Urki casts Inflict Wounds against Lizardfolk 5. The melee spell attack misses.
Feng attacks three times against the paralyzed Shaman. The first attack hits for 15 points of massive damage, the second attack hits for 12, and the third attack hits for 12 damage. Lizardfolk Shaman has to roll Constitution DC15 for damage from an attack that was more than half its HP. The Lizardfolk Shaman fails the Con Save and suffers system shock and is stunned. The second attack knocks it out since Feng has previously stated he subdues his enemies. Because of your remaining movement, the attack will be against the other held Lizardfolk. The third attack hits Lizardfolk 4 and does 12 damage.
Cassandra attacks Lizardfolk 4. The melee attack misses. Inspiration can be spent to give yourself advantage on a roll. Since you can't have advantage on a roll more than once, you retain your Inspiration but miss the attack.

Ai Shan's blade tears at the lizardfolk around him and each of his attacks rip into the creatures. The first one finds a way to hold himself together long enough to strike one more time but is too slow to connect. The second however tears a chunk out of Ai Shan's shoulder with its sharp teeth.

Kildrak, Urki and their foes lunge at each other in a dance of death, each blocking and dodging the other's strikes.

Fēng dive bombs the shaman and with two well placed talon swipes, tears up the face of the shaman. The shaman's eyes and fire go dim and Fēng flits over to help Cassandra dispose of her paralyzed problem.

As the Shaman's fire dies, darkness covers the battlefield, the light of the crescent moon too thin to provide enough light to fight in.

Unless you have darkvision, all attacks are made with disadvantage until a light source is made.

Those who fight Golden Talon monks often forget that their wings are weapons too. With a sweep of his wings Fēng somersaults into the air lashes out at the lizardman still paralyzed by Cassandra's spell. Two wing strikes to the arms and a talon thrust to the chest: Iron Rooster Strike.

*Advantage from paralysis would've cancelled disadvantage from the dark but thanks for the light anyway. Maybe it will light the way for the others as well.
*Autocrit vs Paralyzed.
*If Lizardman 4 drops before all 3 strikes are used up, Fēng hits the next closest enemy.
