@Naat: If Rydler still has Baracus's 10 gold, you can have that to spend on the components. You might have to cover his lodging expense for a little while :)

The way I always did Find Familiar and, whenever I take FF as a beginning spell, the DM always seems okay with it is to just deduct the gold from starting gold and start with FF already summoned. Unless you are an extremely green spellcaster and literally just learning how to cast, it makes sense that you'd have your magical familiar already. Just my two cents.

If these women are fair, we might be better off working with them to keep a relationship, seeing what else we might be able to do with/for them, instead of making enemies by demanding unfair payment on a trick verbal contract under stress.
Plus, fellas, sorry... Paladin. Lawful Good. Women in the room. Some of them hot. All of them pretty cool...
Urban is not going to be the best closer on this deal if the goal is to hold the line on 500gp if he doesn't feel like he and the team earned it.

Finally edited my last post to include something (hopefully) fun for Ybus.
@Nate, yeah an extra spell slot definitely would have helped with the Rat Alley fight. You guys are getting whooped right now.
@Hyp, I feel bad that so far no one has shown interest in Rydler's riddles. I think they're really cool! Might have to throw Vizzini at you down the line haha!
BTW, refer to the city map for your current locations: Rat Alley is at #15, and the Aunties' house is at #23.

Haha, no worries Jabes, I'm not offended in the least. I don't imagine a lot of people would stop mid-combat to figure out a riddle; although that would be funny.

Yea, maybe you guys have some small inconveniences to deal with, but I'm over here facing some really difficult Persuasion and Performance checks with hot, charming, rich women hanging all over me. Plus, Ybus is under a lot of pressure fitting in with his new gang, a lot of fried food and snacks to steal with a bruiser of a kitchen manager to contend with. Have a little empathy and try to understand all of the stress we are under in our side of the split screen.
