The charging kobold is quickly cut down as Harold smoothly transitions from ranged mode to melee mode. A slash across the chest followed by the short sword slitting the creatures throat. A lone kobold (K5) is left standing on the battlefield for the moment.

I make my way to the final Kobold and strike it with my mace.

Actaeon runs between Oraten and Bartholomew, Don't kill him! We can use him for information! he says, and with another notched arrow he aims it at the last kobold, and yells in Draconic, Drop your weapons and surrender, or die!

Actaeon inspects the human leaders bodies- specifically their attire after also investigating the Kobolds, and collecting ammunition.

There doesn’t seem to be anything special about the cloaks they were wearing. From a distance and in the dim light they appeared identical but now that you look closer they are clearly unique to each other.

The only thing you find on them is a pinkish white gemstone with mossy gray markings.

Their apparel is quite unique. This is clearly a planned attack... maybe we can strip them and use their clothes as disguises later?
Mar 15, 2018 2:16 am
Not a bad idea. How do we hide those more obvious ones?, he says, gesturing to the angelic and draconic ones.
Mar 15, 2018 2:38 am
Actaeon rubs his chin, Hmm... after a moment an idea comes to mind, Perhaps we can pass them off as prisoners? I do have a bit of rope.
Mar 15, 2018 7:14 am
That may work, but only if the raiders are interested in slaves and prisoners. It seems strange that we haven’t seen them taking prisoners so far. Anyways, let’s discuss it on the way. We must be off to the keep. Harold sheaths his swords again, very content with his performance so far, and grabs his bow again, drawing an arrow and marching forth.

At Acteaon’s suggestion Bartholomew looks offended. "I think not, Sah. Keep moving."
Mar 15, 2018 1:48 pm
I am a prisoner to no one. I say as we continue moving.
Mar 15, 2018 2:25 pm
Actaeon facepalms, You wouldn't be actual prisoners you fools. But yes, let's get moving.
