Sam walks around the statue and looks down the corridor leading west.
"Looks like more of the same. More of those big pits to get around. It's also the direction we came from, back to the main path?"

Taffy tries to lift the gate but it'll need a fair bit more strength than him alone.

The help of Mathis is enough to get the grate up. Morrison shines his torch below and you see a fast running underground river flowing beneath, a drop of about 40 feet.

Taffy nods at Morrison before dropping the grate off to the side. "Well gents, back the way we came, or should we take the left-hand path?" he nods to the western exit and chuckles, more to himself than anything at these last words.

Returning back out of this strange room, Morrison leads you back to the crossroads. To the south comes the smell of rotting flesh and the main corridor continues east. There is still no sign of any more of the enemy.
"Any suggestions? I don't like the smell of the south corridor."

Sorry, I'm a bit lost...was assuming the statue room was the big square up top, in which case there would have been a left-hand/western exit. Where are we right now on the map?Last edited March 18, 2019 7:50 pm

You are now at the crossroads, south of that square room. As the western corridor from the statue room appeared to be going back the direction you came rather than further into the compound, The Captain retraced your steps and now you have a choice of east or south (from where the smell is coming)
