Ütés:
As you scan the parameter during your watch, and even with the additional watchful eye of Taft, you don't see much activity. A few hours in you do see a small white rabbit bound into the bubble from nearby underbrush. He sniffs the air trying to locate some food.

As Utes and Taft prepare for their shift on watch Aelar will settle down for his rest, "Crolwell, we've got second watch, better get some rest while you can."

With that he will drift off into a troubled sleep, suffering from nightmares involving blood, screams, and a small vial of liquid.

After an uneventful watch, Ütés will return to wake Aelar. "You're up. Once you've both finished wake Xadira and myself. She seems to be very well rested and will make a for an excellent last watch of the night."

Taft leaves you as you go to wake Aelar and lays by the fire that has been built. He adds another large log onto it and then rolls over to sleep.

I spend a good part of the evening jotting down notes on the events of the day and looking over my book of spells. The music has put me in a much better mood and I'm able to rest much easier than I anticipated.

Aelar wakes easily from his restless sleep and bids Taft and Utes a good night. He then wakes Crolwell, "Time for our watch," he then takes up up watch, walking and humming a new tune he is working on as he keeps an eye out for danger.

Crolwell will puff up his pack (with Beast the Goblin inside) and use it for a pillow as he rests back. After a couple minutes Crolwell will scream at the top of his lungs:
"Five Minutes!!! And everything's fine!"
He then shuts his mouth and is as silent as stone.

The goblin in Crolwell's pack struggles as it feels Crolwell lay back on it, but it turns out the old man is surprisingly dense and the thing can't manage to break free. More muffled noises are heard from it, but after the loud outburst it quiets and moves no more.

"... Fifteen minutes!!! And ALL is Fiiiine!"
Sep 2, 2015 7:09 pm
Aelar will glance at Crolwell, "Are you alright over there? I need you to keep alert for me."
Sep 2, 2015 7:10 pm
Crolwell will frown and turn over, ignoring him. Grumbling.
Sep 2, 2015 7:11 pm
Aelar sighs, begins to walk over to Crolwell and then stops before he gets there. Ehh, I'll let the old man sleep, I'm not expecting any trouble anyway, he thinks to himself.
Sep 2, 2015 7:13 pm
After about an hour on watch, with Crolwell shouting out increments of time and the current status, the white rabbit bounds quickly into the bubble again from the underbrush. It darts right and left for a moment, then shoots straight through the encampment, not even seeming to notice all of you and the fire. It breezes right past the fire by only a few inches.

Another moment later you hear another rustling coming out from the brush that the rabbit emerged from. A small pack of wolves bursts into view and halts. It starts looking around and sniffing the ground. They go up right to where you think you remember the bubble ending and start sniffing the air, seeming to be looking for something. They don't appear to have seen you, yet.

Aelar quickly reacts to the potential threat and wakes the others, not willing to risk everyone sleeping in the presence of hungry wolves, whether they can see them or not.

As he is waking the others (just in case) Aelar will speak the words of a spell and point to a grouping of trees nearby, making it sound like something is scampering off through the brush, away from the camp.

In case it matters it will happen in this order: Utes, Taft, Xadira, and then we can all wake Crolwell together

Aelar casts Minor Illusion

Hearing a sound scampering off in the forest the lead wolf sniffs the air intently. After a moment he bounds off into the woods and the other wolves in the pack follow closely behind.

As I'm woken, I bolt upright immediately. "Yes?? Oh! It's you. What's going on, then? Is it time to leave already?"
Sep 2, 2015 8:13 pm
As they run off while I'm waking Xadira, Aelar shakes his head, "Don't worry about it, some wolves just about stumbled into our camp, I was just waking you all in case I couldn't scare them off. They're gone now though, you can all get back to sleep for a while longer."

Crolwell will give a salute and say:
"Wolves are here!!!... And aaaalll is fiiiiine!"
Sep 2, 2015 10:55 pm
I look at him quizzically. "Wolves? As in mundane wolves?" I give him a long look of 'Can't you handle a bunch of puppies yourself?' before adjusting my backpack that I'm using as a pillow and situating myself. "Right, then. Back to sleep I go."

The rest of Aelar's watch goes on uneventfully. As the night is coming to a close it's time for the final watch. Then you can finally make your way out of these woods.
