A small bin filled with scraps of cloth lies at the foot of the stairs leading up to the slide, a dizzying fifty feet above the ground. The ramp has eight ridged paths leading down to the pile of pillows far below.

Grimm rummages around in the bin of scraps before heading through the entrance.

"No time to loose I suppose."

Flash and Doc exchange a worried look and follow the dwarf in.

The group climbs the long ladder to the top of the slide. There are enough slide wells for each of you to take one. If you wish to try to catch a key on the way down, you will have one chance to make a DC 10 Luck check at the 20 ft. mark.

The beardless dwarf drops his scrap of cloth on one of the slide wells and plops down on top of it. He waves goodbye to everyone and pushes off. He sees the key coming up fast and reaches to grab it. Surprising even himself, Uni takes hold of the key and holds it up victoriously.

Complaining and whining the whole way up, Percy finds an empty channel of the massive slide and squeals as he launches himself upon the cloth down the slide. His tiny arms are too short and he misses the key.

Those of you who successfully grabbed keys grin at the prowess of your successful snatch of a key, however the smile is short lived. A loud boom behind you causes you to look back: the jester’s head is now alive! Flames shoot up within its eyes as a gust of foul breath blasts from the mouth, causing you to gag. Vicious blades and spikes suddenly spring up from random sections of the slide, all churning like gears in some twisted machine of death!

Everyone who successfully grabbed a key needs to make another Luck check (DC 12). Failure means that you suffer 1d6 points of damage as you are pierced, shredded, mangled, folded, and otherwise mishandled.

The trio of sliders all yell in shock at the sudden appearance of blades on the slides. They shift and pitch and lean out of the way as best as they can...

Grimm will burn 7 luck to pass the check but Doc doesn't have enough luck to make it so he will take the damage

"DOC NO!!!" Flash screams as his brother is torn apart by the spinning blades, his blood spraying across Flash's face and forcing him to retch.

"No Doc, no no! Why gods?? Why have you forsaken us? I curse the heavens!"

It is only a scratch, but it is enough. Doc's loose clothing is caught by a stray blade and he is pulled helplessly into the machine of death, falling headfirst into a medieval lawnmower. He disappears for a moment and then his bloody remains are spat from the machine to land in a heap at the bottom of the slide, the precious key still clutched in his detached hand.

Uni, being the first down the deadly slide and the weightiest, somehow miraculously plucks a key and escapes being turned into dwarf-burger. He hopes off the end of the slide and puts a hand over his eyes to keep from seeing the terrible scene of his companions being butchered by the gigantic clown.
