Yeah I saw annex recruiting, and only now noticed JM's no longer on the roster. I hope all is well?

Real life issues have forced JoshuaMabry to bow out of the roll of Eric the Cavalier. He's sent his regrets and wishes us all well.

I'd like the rest of you to have a say in which applicant joins us. Once I think we've gotten a good crop, I'll reap so we can separate the wheat from the chaff.

Should we pause the game for the moment or continue?

I believe we can continue. The current situation at the tower isn't dire, and we'll hopefully have a great new player by the end of next week.

Well! We've got two applicants: Shadowace and Jomsviking. I'm leaning toward Shadowace.

I haven't played with either, so it would end up being a coin toss. I abstain.

Also, I'm sorry for being absent the last few days. We were out of town seeing family and it was a mentally tiring trip.

Based on what the two players posted for how they'd play Eric, I feel like Shadowace is much more in line with the way JoshuaMabry was playing Eric. I also feel like Jomsviking's pitch is out of step with the vibe of the party that we've got going here. Maybe great for a different game, but not so much this one.

So I vote Shadowace.

Oh I completely missed the samples (I haven't checked the Games Tavern in a long time). Yeah, after a quick glance I think shadowace's interpretation fits the vibe a bit better.

I agree, Jomsviking's pitch doesn't fit what we've established here. Shadowace please.
