Chapter 6: Calamity Caves

The small pups are scared of Artesia as well. But Iroven finally manages to calm them enough that they don't hiss at you. In fact they find Iroven's cloak quite comfortable, and spreads out on it and each one lie down. It seems the day (or days) have taken a lot out of them and they soon fall asleep on it.

You follow the eastern hallway down a little way until you come to a dead end. At the end you can see illumination from a small hole in the ceiling some 150 feet or so above. At the bottom lies a skeleton that seems to have fallen through some time ago, as it is just the skeleton remaining. Their furs has long since rotted away, and his hunting equipment is brittle to the touch. Though you do find a small vial that have weathered the years and identitify it as a lesser healing potion.

You head back and take the southern hallway and sees its wide enough to accommodate the following, but you haven't walked long before Iroven is able to stop you before you walk into an area filled with a strange brown mold. You need to clean the area before you (or the following can pass).

You see a narrow passage though that breaks off the main passage towards the east before you reach the mold though. Artesia can sense the presence of a magical aura as you near it, but cannot pinpoint exactly where it is. You can also tell the tunnel leads into another room as well as around the moldy area.
