OOC: Do I wait for the rats to go before making my attack?
Jul 11, 2015 12:02 am
[note="SClark617""]rat 1 engaged with Binleeargo and Apro at 34 hp. rat 2 engaged with Bog at 29 hp after regen.[/note]

Binleeargo, you swing wildly but land no hits. Bog, though you have made your best effort, your blade swings wide. Apro, you're up!

The bodies of the rats twist and contort int strange ways that don't seem anatomically possible until before your eyes, they become bipedal and stand taller than all of you!

technically the enemies were supposed to go before bog but that's ok.

Rolls

Attack on Bog - (1d20+11)

Attack on Binleeargo - (1d20+11)

Jul 11, 2015 12:05 am
Bog, your armor again saves you from taking damage.
Binleeargo, your attacks have drawn the attention of the wererat, and he bites into your arm for 2 damage and 2 ongoing! [note="SClark617""]crit range against Bin increased by 1[/note]
Jul 11, 2015 1:47 am
Binlee swears at the feel of the dirty teeth through his clothes and the tear of cloth. He feints a kick at the foul creature and attempts to crush its head between his two hammers.

(Edit: I'm a terrible striker lol.)

Rolls

Hammer #1 - (1d20+3)

(2) + 3 = 5

Hammer #2 (only if hammer #1 rolls even) - (1d20+3)

(8) + 3 = 11

Jul 12, 2015 12:53 pm
Apró, you're up man, Bin, if you could just hold off til the round comes back around (due to the escalation die, it's supposed to help you!) that'd be great. Just trying to stay organized
Jul 12, 2015 3:53 pm
Missing with his initial attack Apró decides to try and disengage from close range.

Failing to disengage, Apró lashes out with Burning Hands.

OOC: Apró takes 2 more points of damage from ongoing effect.

Rolls

Disengage - (1d20)

(6) = 6

Burning Hands Attack - (1d20+5)

(18) + 5 = 23

Burning Hands Damage - (1d6+4)

(6) + 4 = 10

Save Against Ongoing Damage - (1d20)

(10) = 10

Tanser reappears behind the Rat engaged with Apro and attempts a Sure Cut attack with the Momentum from the Shadow Walk attack.

(OOC: Apro is still engaged so I'll roll the Sneak Attack damage as well. Sure Cut Allows the Sneak Attack damage to apply Hit or Miss. but only the Weapon Damage is doubled from Successful Shadow Walk. I think I did it right.)

Rolls

Sure Cut: Dex + Lvl vs AC - (1d20)

(4) = 4

Sure Cut Damage if Hit: Double Dmg from Shadow Walk. - (1d8+4)

(8) + 4 = 12

Improved Sneak Attack Dmg: Applies Hit or Miss do to Sure Cut attack. - (1d6+1)

(3) + 1 = 4

OOC: Who's up?
Jul 17, 2015 4:22 pm
OOC:

If the order is:
Binleeargo
Enemies
Bog
Apró
Tanser

Then I think Binleeargo is up as it's a new round (escalation die increases too)
Jul 18, 2015 2:11 pm
I think my roll(s) on July 10 were for Binleeargo's next action, but I hadn't added the extra escalation +1. Even with that my second attack would only hit AC 12.
Jul 23, 2015 2:11 pm
I think it's the enemies (GM's) turn then?
Jul 25, 2015 2:43 am
OOC: I think the rats killed SClark617 and are now running amok on us!
Jul 26, 2015 2:49 pm
The escalation die is 2!

Apro, you smell burning hair has your burning hands spell connected with the wererat causing it to scream in pain.

Tanser, you reappear behind the wererat that Apro and Binleeargo are dealing with and take a good swipe at it with your dagger but it misses.

The wererat, now cornered by Apro, Binleeargo and Tanser, lashes out in a panic. Tanser appearing out of nowhere startles it more than anything and it bites at you and hits for 14 points of damage and 2 ongoing, save ends.

The wererat on Bog continues its attempt to bypass his armor without much success. Both of the wererats make a high pitched shriek that makes you grab your ears. Bog and Apro, you are the closest ones to your rats at the moment so you guys are effected the worst, you both take 4 damage from the attack.

Bog, you're up!

Sorry for the lateness of the post guys, it's been a busy month.

Apró covers his ears trying to shield himself from the pain from the rat's shriek, but is unable to block out the sounds. He falls over and with an unceremoniously thud hits the ground unconscious.

OOC: I'll make a death save and so forth once Bog takes his turn.
Jul 26, 2015 6:29 pm
Bog furious slashes kept the dire rat at bay, but he was forced to pull back and cringe at the terrifying shriek that emanated from the creatures. Small though his body was, he felt himself blocking some of the sound from reaching the others. He felt a small trickle of blood mix with the grime below his ears, and he returned the cry as he stabbed at the rat.

OOC: I'm invoking my Bastion Class Feat and taking half Apro's damage from the previous attack.

Rolls

Scimatar vc Rat AC (d20+str+lvl+ED+1) - (1d20+8)

(9) + 8 = 17

Jul 26, 2015 6:33 pm
OOC: damage if hit (1 if miss)

Rolls

Damage (d6+str) - (1d6+4)

(5) + 4 = 9

Jul 26, 2015 6:47 pm
Bog, fantastic use of Bastion, I love it! So this means that Apro, you take 2 damage instead of 4 and Bog takes 6 damage instead of 4. Textbook play right there.

As for your attack, you successfully land a hit with your scimitar!
This leaves Apro's turn to make a death save or attack, depending on where the Bastion leaves him.

OOC: Thanks for the save Bog! I was at 5HP, the 4 from the rats took me down to 1, and my 2 ongoing effect took me to -1.

Apró, realizing how close to death he is, but feeling there is no chance of escape, once again lashes out at the nearest rat with a Burning Hands attack.

Rolls

Ongoing Damage Save - (1d20)

(17) = 17

Burning Hands Attack - (1d20+5)

(3) + 5 = 8

Burning Hands Damage - (1d6+4)

(5) + 4 = 9

You reach out to touch the wererat with your magically heated hands, but sadly it deftly moves out of the way. You still have a move action and can disengage if you'd like, it's just a normal save (11+). If you roll and fail, you can still move away but suffer an opportunity attack. If you succeed, you can move away. However, this is entirely up to you.

Tanser, you're up!
Jul 26, 2015 10:55 pm
OOC: Thanks, keep forgetting I can do that.
After making his Burning Hands attempt, Apró tries to limp far enough away to avoid getting chewed on...

Rolls

Disengage - (1d20)

(19) = 19
