"Very well, then. I second the idea that speaking with a journalist is the best way to see what has happened since the last time. I'll go into town with the other boys."

[ +- ] Bill, Clive, Eugene and Doc Crenshaw
Bill, Clive, Eugene and Doc Crenshaw head off in the car after breakfast. Clive has the most auto experience so he drives.
Heading into town they find the library, a single story wooden building, painted brown though weathered with age. Two windows overlook a ground level porch, complete with awning and two recently painted green metal benches.
Inside is a scene of chaos with books on the floor stacked high. Small paths form aisles across a threadbare carpet between the front door and the librarian's crowded desk. Behind the counter is a gray haired lady in a long dark dress. She looks over horn rimmed glasses as you enter and smiles.
"Welcome gentlemen!"

Bill approaches the woman and nods a greeting, "Mam. We are in town for a while doing academic research on the indigenous myths and folklore of this region. Perhaps you can assist us in locating any archives about the history of this region, and even how some of the myths have continued in local traditions, stories and urban legend?"
Mar 23, 2018 7:57 am
"I'm terribly sorry, I have no archives on those subjects I'm afraid, not any more."

"Would you be willing to order more for me? I am in town a while and maybe we will get lucky this time. What were the titles?"
Mar 24, 2018 9:40 pm
"I don’t have records I’m afraid, it was a couple of years ago. If you have specific books you’d like ordered, let me know. They can take a couple of months to get here though."
Mar 24, 2018 11:06 pm
"Did anyone else have access to the library at the time they were last taken?"
Mar 25, 2018 2:52 pm
"Just me and my niece, Amanda. She helps out when she's not at school. I do lock up at night though, so they must have been going missing while we were open. Are you the police or something? To be honest, I'd forgotten about it if you'd not asked about it."
Mar 26, 2018 2:40 pm
"Not the police, I am just curious to what books they might of been and I would like to read them. I do not have specific titles of books I have not read, because I am seeking books I might never heard of on the subject. Perhaps you know of any history in the town related to native mythology or strange stories of the paranormal?"
Mar 26, 2018 6:22 pm
"Not really, not a subject I have any interest in. You might try Agnus Bellweather, our local "wise-woman." There's also an odd farmer , north of town, crazy old Romanian man."
Mar 26, 2018 8:47 pm
"Thank you." Bill looks around the library anyways to see if he can find anything that might just be misplaced or lost in the mess.

Clive does the same...looking around to see if something was just misplaced.
He stops and looks at the librarian. Do you think Amanda would know anything about the books?
