As he approaches the cave, Krogir-Vaam has a sudden burst of inspiration and remembers to check his surroundings.

As KV approaches the cave entrance, he sees plenty of footprints on the ground, most of them appear to be goblin-sized, but there are several that are quite a bit larger. Either a very large man or something else man-shaped.

"Nice work, KV," Seraphina commends. She whistles in awe. "Those are big tracks! Good thing you're here, KV. Maybe we shouldn't knock the door down after all, but go in stealthy-like."
She walks her fingers across her forearm in a tip-toe like fashion to demonstrate.

Feldty lets Seraphina take point, not eager to find himself on the receiving end of a surprise whalloping from something large enough to leave those kinds of prints.

Seraphina moves up to the entrance and pulls the clumsy camouflage away from the door and peers inside. She sees a chamber littered food and excrement, but it's currently unoccupied. At the back of the chamber is a wide tunnel leading deeper into the cave.

As Sera moves through the tunnel, she hears what sounds like sobbing ahead, followed shortly by a very deep laugh and a guttural voice not too far ahead.

Seraphina grips her sword so hard her knuckles turn white. Hearing the slaver torment that little girl is too fucking much for her to handle, sending her back in time to when she endured beatings in the slave pits.

Turning the bend in the tunnel, you see a large bugbear sitting on the ground. Next to him is a small, shaking figure on the ground in tattered clothing.
