Hunter prepares to cast a magical attack, drawing up a glyph in her palm. Beware his floating ability, she Messages. He may have levitation powers like Sarith. Once her arcane messages have been delivered, she raises her hand and pushes the glyph towards the man, sending the touch of the grave towards his neck.

Hunter and Mai'ngor begin their assault and they both manage to land solid hits on him and he staggers back. Pulling a scroll off of his belt, he quickly recites an incantation and is surrounded by an orb of impenetrable force.

He breathes healing and shakes his head, "Master, I have found them," he says.

Hunter's spell goes off, but its not powerful enough to stop the casting of the scroll and the man is totally protected.

Xeliss' spell has no effect and the man in the bubble smirks as he floats up the chasm, "My master will deal with you," he says.

Frustrated, Hunter fires her crossbow at the departing bubbleman, then moves along the chasm floor. "Elayna, stick with Sarith. Things are about to get... interesting," she says, reloading her weapon.

If I'm unable to attack, ignore the roll and I'll just move.

Hunter fires her crossbow at the Beholder's lackey and then rushes for one of the tunnels nearby. Sarith grabs hold of Elayna's hand and they rush after the sorceress. As you duck into one of the tunnels, you see the beholder descending into the chasm at the edge of your vision.

The tunnel you enter is about 7 feet wide at its biggest and goes in a straight line for about 20 feet and then curves off to the right.

"Go! run!" Mai'ngor hisses as he takes the rear. The tikbalang tries to cover their tracks by creating an illusory dead end in the tunnel behind him. He has a suspicion a floating, magical eyeball will see right through the ruse, but no matter.

A few moments after Mai'ngor's illusory wall appears, it disappears, "Ah, you can't hide from me!" the beholder calls out.

Hunter continues down the tunnel, taking the turn to the right. She hopes this passage leads to some place that she can stage an ambush or at least give the party room to maneuver.

The tunnel ahead twists and turns before ending in a small chamber with a small pool inside it, probably fed by an underground spring.
