Tomas again dodges the branches. Raising his shield he steps behind the warden to confuse it in battle tactics before striking.
OOC:

A1: Raise Shield
A2: Step or stride (Tomas should be close to the tree from last round?)
A3: Strike

Rolls

Antler - Atk/Dam - (1d20+10+1, 2d10+6p)

1d20+10+1 : (5) + 11 = 16

Koram sends a barrage of magical energy at the creature, hurting it.

Iroven sends his sword down at it, but it swats the blow aside with his shield.

Artesia sends a divine bolt into it, and with a shriek it falls down.

The trees are still infected by a fiendish presence though, and they look ready to strike again.
OOC:
WhtKnt you are calculating your to hit wrong. It should be Your level (4) + Trained (2) + Wisdom (4) = 10.

Should have noticed last round, as you would have hit last round as well. So that would take him down.

You still have the hazard to deal with. Since it died before your post, you may change your action Tomas.

OOC:
Oops. Sorry. Still getting used to 2e.

OOC:
In that case ...
Tomas will bound towards the hanging hunter and cut him lose with his hatchet.

OOC:
He is held in place by a fiendish tree, so you still need to roll an attack and damage, but it has a weakness to the axe group if you hit.

Tomas will hack the man free

Rolls

Hatchet - Atk/Dam - (1d20+10, 1d6+4s)

1d20+10 : (10) + 10 = 20

1d6+4s : (1) + 4 = 5

The tree shudders as the hatchet hits it, and its grip on the man releases. He falls to the ground like a sack of potatoes. The tree lashes out at those standing in the room. Only Tomas is hit by the sharp branches though (6 damage).

Then again it tries to trip you all up.
OOC:
Time to roll your possibly last Reflex save, DC 19. And you may all act.

The hunter is in bad shape, but can still be saved with a DC 15 Medicine check. The man has a Bulk of 6 if you want to carry him, so most of you would become encumbred to do so. While you're encumbered, you're clumsy 1 and take a 10-foot penalty to all your Speeds. As with all penalties to your Speed, this can't reduce your Speed below 5 feet.

Round 5:
Character Initiative AC HP Statuses
Iroven 29 21 (23) 14/56 shield raised
Artesia 21 17 18/42
Koram 21 18 / 20 (Haitith) 29/60
Abyss-Warped Tree 20 18 17/40 hazard; hardness 10
Tomas 16 20 (22) 10/64

Rolls

Abyss-Warped Trees vs Tomas - (1d20+12, 1d8+3)

1d20+12 : (18) + 12 = 30

1d8+3 : (3) + 3 = 6

Abyss-Warped Trees vs Iroven - (1d20+12-5, 1d8+3)

1d20+12-5 : (3) + 7 = 10

1d8+3 : (2) + 3 = 5

Abyss-Warped Trees vs Artesia - (1d20+12-10, 1d8+3)

1d20+12-10 : (7) + 2 = 9

1d8+3 : (2) + 3 = 5
