Moving a cage with a person inside is going to be pretty difficult, even for a were-cat. Let's hold tight for a moment to see if Hildar has any tricks up his sleeves to lighten the load.

Regarding the dove, Tronus can make an Average (PP) Perception check. This goes down to Easy (P) if he's up on the rooftop.

Bruv pauses only long enough to speak his reply to Galbernost, "The swamp is rising to take back it's land! Buzzard's Ford is lost!! Gadder anyone you care for, and get dem to da ferry! NOW!!"

And then he moves to continue raising the alarm and aiding ppl in movement through the muck and readying any personal boats people might have truths along canals or propped against sheds, etc.

Bruv will use magic if/when necessary, to conjure large (Sil 3) tracts of solid ground. But will wait until the ground is virtually unpassable to do so.

Just let me know if/when any checks for that, or the other assistance he is giving, are needed.

Will use 3 Adv to recover Strain. And maybe a chunk of the other to notice if either someone needing help, or something that can help with the evacuation? Perhaps he notices the pageant stage and/or feasting table(s) are very sturdily built, and will make serviceable floatation devices?

Wasn't the cage previously damaged when we subdued the weaver? Could we just spend a SP to say we spot a section that's almost ready to fall apart and just break it open so they can move on their own volition?

Roger that on dry land conjuring. It's not that dire quite yet, but it may be soon.
Galbernost startles at the suggestion the town might be... sinking? Flooding? "Sorry, Inspector, but I got a family to worry about!" He starts off at a trot back to his homestead, water now coming up to his ankles. He pauses. "You might get the stage, some of the tables -- they'll float!"

Tronus notices the dove keep taking flight, then alighting on a rooftop, taking flight, then alighting on a rooftop. It eventually disappears over a house somewhere at the edge of the town square, so the Dwarf loses sight of it.
OOC:
Getting Anzila out of the cage isn't a problem, but she may be a problem if you do so.

Hildar kneels down at the side of the cage "Now we seem to be in a bit of a quandary here. On the one hand we could leave you in this cage and you’ll most likely either drown if the waters rise far enough as the swamp reclaims this land or whatever creatures dwell out there will take you once they come back into this area.....or I could let you out and you could come with us and cooperate." he considers her reaction for a moment "I have to admit the idea of letting the knowledge Thats locked away in your head die with you seems to be a tad.....wasteful"

The weaver merely scoffs at Hildar and Nekurr. "I'll take my chances with the swamp."

Meanwhile, the waters continue to rise. But with no clear leader to corral the villagers, things are growing chaotic. You have several possible tasks to accomplish: Secure Kellis Isle's body? Secure your suspects in his murder? Rally the villagers to safety? Try to find the lost taxes?

Hildar shakes his head at the weaver "Fine. Good luck I suppose". He turns and begins to head out to see if he can assist with the rest of the villagers

Part of the Survival skill is described as knowing how to "cope with dangerous conditions" in the wilderness, so Bruv will go with that first. He's already augmented... should I take 2 Strain with each skill challenge check to maintain that? Can I argue for Advantage for the earlier identification of the stage and table as flotation?

Since Nekurr's in were-form, he can't cast, so let me know if you'd like to try to cast once more to hit up your allies with the Augment. As of right now, you and Tronus can both Augment (Tronus via Verse).

Assuming you're good, Survival's a great option. Since we're abstracting time quite a bit, I think 2 strain per turn for maintaining an augment makes sense UNLESS it has the Haste added effect. Yours does, right? So no extra strain for you. Boost for the wooden stuff you identified, absolutely.

Hildar moves to get a good view of the village and draws his wand and takes a deep breath before beginning to incant....as sweat begins to form on his brow he shouts out to the others "Something about the land seems to be resisting my spell!"

"For lack of better terms your lands are sinking and going to be reclaimed by the swamp. Wether you like us or find us ammiable none of you want to die. Help us make sure that doesn't happen. And if you got time to complain you got time to help your townfolk survive." Tronus belts out.

"This task has been rough but we're still representing Lady Argus. Lets do what we can to accomplish what must be done. We'll figure out the chips and where they land once the people are safe or at least floating." Tronus states to the rest having come back from bird chasing.

"And if things go sideways I don't blame Nekurr this time." he adds gruffly.

Update if this gets pushed up Everyone gets a boost die for the next two rounds plus Hildar gets a boost die from my advantage.
And Bruv aka Bruce would get one from me and another from Hildar I believe. Nekurr gets one plus however many Bruv pushes.

Current Total: 9/20 Successes.
Seeing the waters reclaiming the land, Tronus's inspiring words set off a flurry of motion. Hildar tries to conjure up levees to hold back the water from the common footpaths. His spell nearly fails to take effect, but then he remembers something Tronus said, and he manages to harness the necessary energies! Stone walls appear out of thin air, holding back the waters in a central portion of the town... at least for the time being.

Bruv helps lead people down paths toward the festival plaza. The area is far enough away from Hildar's dams that the waters have already claimed the roads, but the Orc watches the water's motion to spot the high ground and direct folks toward the wooden tables and stage. Skeeter Zymph follows along, muttering something about how he'd rather take his chances with the baron's courts than the crocodiles.
OOC:
I used Bruv's advantages to secure Skeeter, but we can change that if you wish and pass +2 boost to Nekurr if you prefer. He'd get +4 in that case.

Other uses for advantages might be to notice something important, like where that dove got off to.

Nekurr looks strangely at Tronus "No blame" just as he runs off to catch up with the panicking villagers. With a mixture of grunts, warnings and gentle pushes, Nekurr tries to rally the missing villages to the festival plaza to join with Bruv. "Join the Orc, he nature man, he safe."

Not sure if that is good enough to notice the dove.

I can allways re-roll a charm once :D
